The Gentleman Farm Movement that began in the late 19th century swept through Lake County in the early 20th.

Laurie Stein, Curator at the History Center of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff, and Jenny Barry, Cook Memorial Public Library Local History Librarian, introduce prominent gentleman farmers from the Libertyville/Lake Forest area including John Thompson, Albert Lasker, and J. Ogden Armour.
