Times and technology change, but people and their decisions resonate over time. Look back 100 years to shed light on our current culture, our progress, and our continued challenges. The decade of 1921-1930 saw the first Ford Model A, the historic flight of Charles Lindbergh, and the first roadside lodging to call itself a "Mo-tel." Gandhi was imprisoned in India for sedition, and Hitler went to jail for a failed coup. It was a turbulent time for race relations, with the destruction of Tulsa’s Black Wall Street and the torching of Rosewood, Florida by the Ku Klux Klan. It was the era of National Prohibition, the boom of the Roaring Twenties, and the bust of Black Friday and the start of the Great Depression.
