Plant Exchange Guidelines
Welcome to our Plant Swap! We’re thrilled to bring the community together to share our love for gardening. To ensure a fun and smooth experience for everyone, please follow these friendly guidelines:

Community Spirit
No Selling: This event is all about sharing. Please don’t sell plants or materials.

Respectful Swapping
Mutual Agreement: All exchanges should be agreed upon by both parties. Let’s keep the spirit of sharing alive!

Healthy Plants Only
Pest-Free: To keep our community healthy, please bring only pest-free and disease-free plants.

Take It Home
No Leftovers: If you don’t swap a plant, please take it back with you. No unexchanged plants should be left at the library.

Helpful Tips
- Label Your Plants: Include the plant’s name and care instructions to help others care for their new green friends.
- Healthy Condition: Ensure plants are healthy and potted in clean containers with fresh potting soil. Water them a day or two before the event to keep them hydrated but not overly wet.
- Bring Your Best: Limit to 3 plants per person to encourage variety and sharing.
- Cuttings: If you’re bringing cuttings, they should be at least 4-6 inches long and placed in water or damp paper towels for transport.
