About Chris White
Toronto native Chris White is a versatile pianist, arranger, and educator known for his leadership on albums Young at Heart and Tributaries. Based in Chicago, he's performed at venues such as the Chicago Jazz Festival, The Green Mill, and Feinstein's/54 Below, and has worked with notable artists like Miguel Zenón, Ira Sullivan, and Jamey Aebersold. Chris teaches at Lake Forest College, North Park University, and North Central College. He holds a Master’s in Jazz Studies from Indiana University and a DMA in Jazz Performance from the University of Illinois. His influential mentors include Barry Harris, Joanne Brackeen, and Hal Galper.
