Bookmobile participates in the 4th of July parade for the village of Vernon Hills.

  • Parade Steps Off: At 9 am at the corner of Deerpath and Atrium Drive, just south of Highway 60/Townline Road. The route goes south to Sullivan Drive and then west to Aspen Drive. 
  • Closures: Please remember that traffic on Deerpath Drive and the parade route will be stopped for road closures beginning at approximately 8:30 am
  • Please Be Kind: Please be mindful and respect others' desire to enjoy the parade.  
    • Water guns, water balloons and other disruptive items are prohibited.  
    • Please help children be safe – don't enter the street to pick up candy or other items tossed by parade participants.  
    • Our veterans and current service members encourage us to stand and remove caps/hats for the flag, particularly for the first color guard that leads our parade.
