Cook Park Library, Libertyville
Meeting RoomSaving seeds is a great way to plan for next year's garden! Some are easy, while others require a little extra care and knowledge. Learn all the specifics from the Illinois Master Gardeners.
"The University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener program is designed to educate volunteers in horticulture and enable them to share knowledge with their communities. Master Gardeners receive over 60 hours of training covering topics such as ornamentals, vegetables, fruits, soils, insects, entomology, and plant pathology. Volunteers then contribute their time to local projects, including community gardens, pollinator support, and educational outreach, helping to enhance the environment and quality of life in Illinois communities."
