However, in that brief period they became - and remain - the world’s most iconic band thanks to a treasure chest of memorable songs and an uncanny ability to chart fresh musical direction with every new release. Using performance and interview clips we’ll explore the reasons it all fell apart 50 years ago and what – if anything - could have been done to keep the band intact.
