For musicians of all skill levels. Americana singer/songwriter Zach Pietrini teaches the mechanics of songwriting and how to apply them so you can walk away with a song you are proud of.
A word from Zach...
The work of an artist is to look at the world and describe what you see. Which is what I’ve strived to do for most of my life.
My musical journey started the same as many - lessons, writing in the basement, joining bands, and it has led to a 20 year career, writing, performing, and producing music. Over that time I have toured prolifically through the US, opening for names such as Blind Pilot, Huey Lewis and the News, and Walker Hayes. My band and I are regulars at Summerfest, Mile of Music and other regional/national festivals (SXSW, red gorilla, etc). I have written, self produced and released 11 albums, my latest having broken into the top 100 on the indie and college charts.
For the last seven years I have been writing for film and TV, creating a catalog of almost 300 songs placed in TV shows and movies on CBS, NBC, Netflix, Paramount, BBC, HGTV, and many more. The more I write and perform, the more I love it and the more I love helping people write and perform their own music. I host writing retreats and writing work shops regularly because I love helping people find their specific voice.
