Art historian Jeff Mishur hosts this exploration of two special exhibitions at the Art Institute of Chicago on Wednesday, September 23. Purchase your tickets only at Aspen Drive Library.

Celebrate America 250 with a bus trip to the Art Institute of Chicago with art historian Jeff Mishur. Explore exhibitions of two visionary American women: painter Mary Cassatt and photographer Lee Miller. There will also be plenty of time for independent exploration of the museum’s permanent collection.

Mary Cassatt: After Impressionism

Painter Mary Cassatt was the only American to exhibit with the French Impressionists. Explore the work and life of this fearless and uncompromising artist.

Lee Miller: Fearless

Take a closer look at the work and life of this Vogue fashion model turned Surrealist artist and World War II photojournalist.
