Bring your doll for a special afternoon tea party in Cook Park. Hear the story of Felicity's summer on her grandfather's plantation.
REGISTERED PROGRAM: Registration opens June 18 at 4:00 p.m. We will meet inside the Cook Library at the children's reference desk and walk to the park.
It's summer in Virginia 1774. Felicity loves being outside all day on the plantation - riding her horse Penny, playing with her brother and sister and exploring the woods. One day she finds a secret note from her father's apprentice Ben and must find a way to help him.
Come hear the exciting story which takes place during our country's fight for Independence. Enjoy Colonial treats and make a patriotic craft.
In case of inclement weather the program will be moved indoors to the lower level workshop.
