Join us as Laurel Mellien explores the art and symbolism of Victorian headstones. These symbols and artwork can reveal information about your ancestors, while also elucidating the time period.

Mellien is the author of History and Stories of the McHenry County Cemeteries. She has presented at many local public libraries and historical societies. She regularly travels and photographs symbolism at cemeteries throughout the country, compiling more than 100,000 images from over 600 different cemeteries!
